Tasting Notes

Aroma: Light and refined, with delicate notes of hay, sun-dried grass, and soft white florals. With age, faint hints of honey, dried fruit, and a gentle woody undertone begin to emerge.

Flavor: Silky and subtle, with a clean profile that reveals notes of sweet hay, melon, and a hint of fresh almond. The aging has brought a touch of depth, adding soft hints of dried apricot and warming spice while maintaining the tea’s natural purity.

Finish: Smooth and lingering, with a soft, floral sweetness and a faint mineral touch. The aftertaste is clean and elegant, with a lightly cooling sensation and a delicate hui gan (returning sweetness).

Use a small sharp pick to loosen the tea leaves from the disc. Loosen just the amount of leaves you want.

In a small teapot, steep for 30 seconds if you like your tea quite light and up to 1 minute if you prefer something stronger. The bigger your teapot, the longer the steeping time.

In a normal sized mug (approximately 250ml), steeping time should be between 2 to 3 minutes.

If you brew your tea in a convenience cup, do not throw the leaves away after 1 round. Good tea leaves are good for 3 rounds. You may want to steep the leaves slightly longer with each subsequent round.
